MRI

A kind of X-ray that gives an image of the blood vessels (heart, brain, kidneys and legs) to determine if the vessels are sick, too narrow, enlarged or blocked. After passing a catheter into an artery leading to the affected body part, an iodine contrast agent is injected to illuminate the vessels during the X-ray.
